1. Presentation

  • - Allotted Time: maximum 10 min.
    ※ This allotted time does NOT apply for invited lectures

    • * Please keep your presentation within the time allotted.
    • * Allotted time may be subject to change by chairs due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • - Language: English

2. Presentation File

  • - As for the aspect ratio of your presentation file (slides), a ratio of 4:3 is recommended.
  • - Presentation slides should be made in an MS Power point (2007 or newer version) file for smooth operation. If you have any other types of presentation files, please inform our staff of the preview room in advance.
  • - Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font)

3. Submitting a Presentation File

To Upload Onsite: at Preview Room

All speakers are required to visit the preview room and submit presentation materials at least 1 hour before their session. (Please bring your file on a USB flash drive.) All uploaded presentation files will be saved on the ICMRI2019 server and transmitted to the room of your presentation from the Preview Room.

4. Equipment

  • - 1 Main Screen in front (a 4:3 ratio screen)
  • - Just before your presentation, your presentation file submitted at the preview room will be projected on the screen controlled by the technician of the session room.
  • - A monitor, mouse, microphone, timer and smart pointer will be provided on the podium for speakers.
  • - Everything must function with a mouse. There will be no keyboards on the podium.
  • - The Slide Note function (Presenter View mode) will NOT be provided by default.
  • - Internet access will be provided in session rooms.
  • * Preview Room and all session rooms will be equipped with Windows 7 based laptops with Office 2013 installed.
  • * If your file contains video or sound, please inform our staff and check the system in advance.
  • * We do NOT recommend you present using your own laptop for the smooth operation of the session.
  • * If you wish to present with your own laptop (IBM or MAC), please confirm you have a VGA adaptor and test it in the session room beforehand where your presentation will take place.
    (We do NOT provide any devices for Macintosh).

The power pitch session is designed to maximize the exposure and discussion of each abstract. This session consists of a 2-minute oral presentation followed by one hour of poster viewing.

Each speaker should create a 2-minute presentation (in English) to highlight the essence of their work. We recommend organizing your presentation with a maximum of five slides. It is important that the speaker keep within the allocated 2-minute slot for the talk. The moderator will introduce the title and first author of the presentation and the presenter should start immediately after the introduction. No questions will be answered after the oral presentation.

After the oral presentations of all speakers, the speakers and audience will move to the poster exhibition room (Grand Hall 1+2+3, B1F). The speakers are requested to be at their assigned places and are asked to present their presentations, allowing for the introduction of more details of the work and maximum interaction/discussion. These presentations will be done in a traditional poster format or electronic poster format. Free beer and soft drinks will be available during poster Q&A time for a more relaxed discussion and exchange of ideas.

  • 1) Prepare TWO presentations for the smae abstract (oral presentation & Traditional Poster or E-Poster)
  • 2) Give a 2-minute oral presentation at assigned session room (Brief summary of your work wihout Q&A)
  • 3) Move to the poster exhibition room and have an in depth discussion with participants

Oral Presentation File

1) Format
  • - Presentation slides should be made in MS-PPT or PPTX format (*.ppt or *.pptx) only.
  • - Version: 2007 higher version
  • - Screen Ratio: 4:3
  • - Page limit: maximum of five slides

2) Submitting the presentation file (by March 15)

- For a reliable and smooth presentation, please submit your presentation file to icmrifile@gmail.com by March 15.

Please note the following information for the preparation of your poster.

Poster Size

Poster panels are 237cm in height by 95cm in width. Poster size should be A0 (1189mm x 841mm). The poster title, author(s)'s name(s) and institution(s) should appear at the top. Posters should be legible by viewers from one meter away. The message should be clear and understandable without an oral explanation.

* Poster Printing & Free Delivery Service (Deadline: March 25, 2019)
We are pleased to be able to facilitate an option for local poster printing and delivery through THE FOSTER.
Submit your poster in PDF format via the page dedicated to ICMRI 2019: Go To Website (link address http://www.forceposter.com/order/order.asp)
The FOSTER Service will print your poster which you can collect at the congress venue. This way you do not need to bring your poster to the venue.

Poster Session Schedule

All presenters are requested to affix and remove their posters at the following times:

* The secretariat will not be liable for any lost or damaged posters

Poster Q&A

  • * All posters will be eligible for nomination for the Best Poster Awards. They will be reviewed by the scientific committee during the Poster Q&A time which means that one of the authors should be on standby in front of their poster to answer any questions by the scientific committee or participants.
  • * There is no allocated presentation time for posters.
  • * Free beer and soft drinks will be available during poster Q&A time for a more relaxed discussion and exchange of ideas.

E-Poster Format Guidelines

E-Posters must meet the following criteria:

A. Format
  • All E-Posters should be prepared in English.
  • E-posters will be accepted in MS-PPT or PPTX format (*.ppt or *.pptx) only.
  • Version: 2007 or newer version
  • Screen Ratio: 16:9
B. Page Limit

There is no limit on the number of slides.

C. Recommended Headings

Title & authors’ information (first slide), Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions

D. Font
  • Use basic fonts such as Arial, Calibri, or Times New Roman.
  • Recommended minimum font size is 12 Points.
E. Media & Multimedia
  • Pictures, videos, graphs and tables can be included in the e-Poster.
  • Audio will not be supported.

How to Submit your Presentation File?

- Please send your presentation file (in PowerPoint PPT format) to icmrifile@gmail.com March 15.

E-Poster Q&A

During Poster Q&A time, e-poster presenters are requested to be at their assigned monitor (PDP) for 10 minutes in order to interact with those who are interested in their work. The Scientific Committee will make an announcement on the E-Poster presentation schedule once it has been finalized.

  • *All posters will be eligible for nomination for the Best Poster Awards. They will be reviewed by the scientific committee during the Poster Q&A time which means that one of the authors should be on standby in front of their poster to answer any questions by the scientific committee or participants.
